His Holiness
Dr. Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin

Dear Dr. Burhanuddin:

It is a pleasure to welcome you back to the United States for the dedication of a new mosque in California. Your presence at this event is a great honor for the Dawoodi Bohra community. Thank you for taking the time to be here and for your leadership in spreading a message of respect, peace, and faithfulness. This mosque will offer guidance and solace to many Muslims, and it reminds if of the contributions that Muslim Americans have made to our religious and cultural heritage.

I also understand Prime Minister Manmohan Singh personally dedicated the new Saifee Hospital in Mumbai. Congratulations on the opening of this important facility that will provide hope and healing to many.

Laura and I hope you enjoy your stay in America, and we send our best wishes.

Sincerely,

George W. Bush
